Why Green Rosetta?

Many sailboats have clever names that usually include some kind of nautical or bawdy pun, or possibly something self-referential. Welcome to Green Rosetta

This blog is primarily intended for family and friends of Jim & Helga. The main purpose is to let people know when and where we might be sailing so readers can invite themselves along on a particular trip. It can also answer some of their basic questions about or our decision to embark on a sailing adventure and other related details. Readers could also be just family and friends curious about our progress. Finally, sailing enthusiasts might find a grain or two of something interesting, especially Tartan fans; our boat is a 1997 Tartan 4600. Again, welcome!   Next Article >
